TMV World Legacy Member jonpall Posted August 8, 2013 TMV World Legacy Member Posted August 8, 2013 How can one make an A5 any more difficult than it already is? By sustaining a slightly lower high note for two minutes (well, it sounded like it) just before. That's how this guy rolls ;)
TMV World Legacy Member Martin H Posted August 8, 2013 Author TMV World Legacy Member Posted August 8, 2013 A bit overstated, but thanks Jon. ;)
TMV World Legacy Member forest_gimp Posted August 9, 2013 TMV World Legacy Member Posted August 9, 2013 Excellent performance, great control and stage confidence. It was a real pleasure to watch. In the first video, is the B4 at the end a covered head tone? If so, you really got a nice compression and great formant tuning, because this is no easy note.
TMV World Legacy Member Martin H Posted August 9, 2013 Author TMV World Legacy Member Posted August 9, 2013 Thanks Phil, yes the clip is about five years old. :)

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "covered head tone"? But according to CVT it's the mode Edge, and then the following note (G4) is Overdrive. I guess TVS would call both head tones but the first note more high larynx and the second more dampened. :)

TMV World Legacy Member ElenaHouse Posted August 9, 2013 TMV World Legacy Member Posted August 9, 2013 Wow, Martin, I loved both of those. I love to see all that great acting with your singing. Wonderful job. Wish I could have been in the audience. By the way. Where is that outdoor theater? ~Elena~ www.elenahouseonline.com
