so i'm riding to work today, and i put in this beat up, unnamed audio cassette. i stick in my deck and it turns out to be a group that i needed to know the name of.

i said to myself "the vocalist could easily have replaced steve perry." so i type in the lyrics and it turns out to be a group call "the storm."

i checked them out on wikipedia and wouldn't you know it, the singer, kevin chalant worked as singer for journey for a short time.

this guy's got some voice. his biggest hit was "i've got a lot to learn about love."

never even heard of this band, but several members were from journey! what a coincidence.

I've been a fan of The Storm for a while. Just great AOR, here's my favorite track by them.

I find it interesting that The Storm's personnel is basically "Journey without the main songwriters" yet they still wrote some kick-ass tunes.

He's a cool guy. He's been on my Facebook for a few years now. He's always busy with something, and one of his projects is Kevin Chalfant's Journey Experience. A Journey tribute band. He's a very good live singer.

I don't know if anybody saw me post a song of his band (Work of Art) in the "magic moments" thread... I really think Work of Art is my favorite current band. Just perfect melodic rock in my opinion.
