I can clearly hear the difference (although I prefer the 1st attempt except for the chorus

where I like the 2nd).

I can clearly hear the "ping"/"brightness" in your voice, but I can also hear a good amount of vocal weight, don't know how you do that with such ease. Your voice is not covered/overtly thick and there's no strain whatsoever, you keep that brightness throughout.

Please don't get me wrong, I think that you, among very few on this forum, have a professional sounding voice but I would like to ask you if you have used any pitch correction.

Cheers,

THan

You couldn't have gave me a bigger compliment lol

Nope no auto tune or that jazz....But this tune did take multiple takes.

I've always had a good sense of pitch, i think that might be because of my guitar and piano training.

Excellent stuff, Chavie. I do agree that the chorus in the second version is "stronger" and more fitting than the first version but you showed really good effort both times. But like you, of the two, I like the second one.

And blessing to you, brother from the Great White North.

I like the way you sound on both, although the second one was better because of the chorus. I think that with time and training you could make the chorus sound even fuller, if you want it to. Congratulations on the great job Chavie. Hopefully one day soon I will be able to show improvement on my passagio too.

You sound great on both, Chavie, but i also prefer the second one because of its more beefy chorus. The first chorus is also good and it is not falsetto in the sense that the head voice is breathy more like it is more thin. You remind me a little of a singer named Toby Hitchcock - a great AOR singer most famous with a band called Pride Of Lions:
