TMV World Legacy Member napoleonboot Posted October 9, 2013 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted October 9, 2013 My cover of Motorhead's Ace Of Spades. I created this from the ground-up, with me singing, guitaring and bassing, and a friend of mine (Ian Burrage) on drums. As usual, constructive criticism, is welcome. Or just "good job" I recorded this a while ago, but this is a much improved remix I did this week. It's best to listen to this VERY LOUD! :D George can often be found playing electric stringy things, and singing... TMV World Legacy Member ronws Posted October 9, 2013 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted October 9, 2013 I thought it sounded great. And fairly close. The only way to get closer would be to take up his habits. Jack and Coke (ever-prescent. Funny that an englishman likes american whisky.) And, of course, the Marlboro (red kings.) Nothing I can think of too improve. And yeah, it's cool to see King George take a diversion from prog to speed metal.
TMV World Legacy Member napoleonboot Posted October 10, 2013 Author TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted October 10, 2013 Thanks Ron. I don't have Lemmy's bad habits, but I do have his good looks! TMV World Legacy Member MDEW Posted October 10, 2013 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted October 10, 2013 Lemmy's an animal. A very hard act to follow also. You did a great job on this. TMV World Legacy Member ronws Posted October 11, 2013 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted October 11, 2013 Thanks Ron. I don't have Lemmy's bad habits, but I do have his good looks! Now, that's just going too far. No way you could match Lemmy "Pretty Boy" Kilmister. Plus, you need to do like he does, wear cut-off shorts and a t-shirt to the Rainbow in LA and play some video games (when he's not on tour. There's a bar stool that no one bothers with because it is his.)
