Larynx dampening

It can also decrease tension in the voicebox. When we sleep the larynx rests deep in the throat, if it's habitual(the larynx relaxes because it usually does so when low"sleepingstate" ) or physical(better setup for relaxation) I cant tell with my current knowledge.

Martin do you perhaps know something about the above? Im very intrested in knowng more about this specific question
