I am not sure what you recorded on but you might drop the vocal a little more in the mix, so that it blends a little better. For all I know, you may have used a simple mic while a karaoke track played on the house stereo. So, that's really just a pointer about recording and mixing, something I am trying to improve, bit by bit. But the singing was good and your tone and phrasing fit really well. Certainly well enough to hear you sing against something. Excellent song choice for your voice, by the way. It all fits together, in spite of lack of recording mix.
