Blameitonthevodka
At 3:08 when she sings "home" it seems like she's shifting the resonance or something, anyway it sounds really cool I think
VideoHere
man, this is that "new" kind of singing with all this rolling vibrato i really can't say i like too much. good vocalist, but not my cup of tea...the runs take away from the message i.m.o..... but anyway, this is simply good technique. she opens up the throat and the mouth (vertically) to create more space to accommodate the taller sound beam the vowel and the pitch causes. Martin H
At 3:08 when she sings "home" it seems like she's shifting the resonance or something, anyway it sounds really cool I think According to CVT that's Overdrive on the OH vowel. :)

Steven Fraser
Martin H: ... which she shaded toward 'Ah' a bit to get into the center of the mode.
Martin H
Steven, The perceived AH is most likely due to the wide "bite" she is using compared to the rounding of the lips normally used in OH. :)
Owen Korzec
I think I also heard a slight shift toward a more curbing-like resonance right around 3:10 too...she modified to "O" as in "woman" there. So maybe that's the resonance shift you mean. Then it sounds like she leaves it and goes back to the overdrive Oh.
