Whippywoo
Ok,my singing teacher wants me to share with my friends but I'm too scared too!I have with one but thought I'd go on here instead! So,can you listen to the two songs I done today?I completely went wrong on Show me Heaven as I was full of nerves.I can sing powerfully but due to being able to hear that in the earphones I ended up shutting down and kinda stunting my voice and was incredibly uncomfortable, some off notes in it too unfortunately but I know I went very wrong and didn't do what i know I could. Anyway, because I'm a bit low on confidence (there are reasons) I just thought I'd share and ask what you all think.I used to sing when i was in my teens and done several perfomances but lost it a bit after having my son young and not being able to do what I used to.So started again, paying for lessons and am desperate to get back what I had and seriously improve it.But then I'm worried that I'll never be good enough to sing anywhere out of the home lol http://www.myspace.com/thisischelle
ronws
I like the tone of your voice and you should definitely keep singing.
mvrasseli
I agree with ronws, I think you have a good voice quality. I have a good tone perception and I can tell you the only notes that made me crazy was 1:00min and 2:10min in "Show me heaven ever". I don't know sure but it seems like your troath was a little strain in "Use somebody" maybe it's why some notes sound a little unpitched. Your vibrato is realy good for me and your low notes are great, I think it's rarely in most of women singers. Keep posting your songs, I'm sure you can do better ones. :D
Whippywoo
Thanks. lol those notes make me crazy too!i was seriously disappointed with how it turned out aswell tbh Not sure about strain but my throat was a little dry when I was doing use soebody and i think I was trying to force myself to stay at a level i'm not used to aswell rather than just relaxing into it,sang it a bit dead too. An chance of any song recommendations?Haven't chose anthing to try myself yet and teacher wants me to.That's down to nerves too lol
mvrasseli
There's a song called "walking on air" from the album THRAK from King Crimson, I think it's a medium dificulty song I guess. Here's a best cover I've heard Here's the original version I probably will do some record of this song when I feel I'm more secure on singing.
