I liked "Hallelujah." Right kind of phrasing and your vowels have cleaned up considerably. I could detect very little southern accent in this.

"Shambala" - that is my favorite song from the Three Dog Night catalog. You were pitchy on the high "oo's" I thnk because you are too worried about how you are supposed to produce a note up there. Quit worrying, quit thinking, just do the note. Later, when you are not worried about such things, you do fine on "Ah, how the light shines in the halls of Shambala." Find that same easy in the falsetto-y oo's that lead into the chorus. Everything else was great and it brings back memories. I can hear the original rhythm and meter in how you play this.

Hey MDEW!

At last I hear your voice!

Nice job man! :) I dont really know the song Shambala, but I do Halleluya, and it sounds so authentic. Your voice fits it perfectly!

Additional thought, MDEW. Don't do the "oo's" as falsetto. If you are more comfortable doing it full, then do that. Because the part of "the halls of Shambala" has a similar range of notes and you sound fine, there. So, do the "oo's" the same way that you did "halls of Shambala."

Thanks Ron and Gilad,

On Shambala the "How" in "how does the light shine?" is what gives me trouble. It is supposed to be a G4 in the key that I play it. But, it ends up being between E4 and F#4 and I have to start all over again. :o

I agree that the OO's are flat but my "How" was kind of OK so posted this one.

Any tips on how to sing "How"? I think I am using the vowel A as in cat.

I think I will try this in the original key. Instead of that G4 that is right at my break it wil be an A4 wich I can do in full head voice.

The odd thing about this is that I can sing the higher harmony "Tell me. How" without any problem. It seems to have full voice quality to it and the top note is B4.
