Hey everyone, tried what you all said. I wish I could have caught in audio but I just decided to "support" make the sound free and easy... conserve air! Tried to feel my way through an actual song...

The song was right in the center of my voice. The lyrics were "Just do you girl... let me do maaaay" and I could feel a floaty resonance but it was still feeling very powerful.

Next I lowered the volume a bit... quieted down yet the resonance maintained its "power" and literally the "Ay" went right through the passaggio with no effort at all... the resonance felt like it was being sucked into my body but "UP AND BACK..." I have never felt it so vividly before it mostly went back (a little up though!) as the resonance was ALWAYS up/forward for me even in my low notes.

Do not know what I did but normally my "AY" as in hey cannot do that... this time it felt relaxed powerful and I actually DESCENDED smoothly in the same passage. I also did it slow too so the last vowel sound was "Mm-eh-aay" and I could feel the resonance switch by itself =/

Sorry for being overly excited. Someone explain this lol

Good for you Jay! I had a similer experience once. It lasted for 30 mins until I received a phone call and lost the sensation. :| I had been reading an obscure text about some technique that has been shot down more than Bonnie and Clyde. I tried some of the crazy ideas on some songs that were playing on the radio including Beach Boys, Aretha Franklin, Heart and Boston. From the Low notes to the High notes it all sounded and felt as easy as my speaking voice.

It may not have had anything to do with the text that I had been studying at the time but I still wonder about that.

I have not had that happen since then. At the time it was an awesome feeling.

So congradulations and keep up the good work.

JayMC: Congrats! If it sounds good, and feels good... keep doing it. Your voice responded to your way of approaching it... your concept, in a new way.

I think its a breakthrough.
