VideoHere
everyone knows that it's not good to sing on a full stomach, but last might i found out firsthand what a serious mistake this was. i was at a party and you always get those people that want you to get up and sing...some who honestly want you to.....and those people who simply can't believe you do (oh, you're a singer? oh wow!) and would like to see you fall flat on your face....know what i mean.....? well, some guy there actually had karaoke (a cdg player) right on his i pad and naturally i was coaxed into singing... but i had just pigged out on buffalo wings and all kinds of crap....and was filled to the brim. after much prodding, i sang "knock on wood" and "head games" against my wishes just to get them to leave me alone...boy i cannot begin to tell you the effort i had to expend.....the strength i had to eke out to be able to sing those two songs on a full stomach... head games was torture, and i ended up with a big headache that had my right eye tearing...sucked!!! miraculously, it was a halfway decent vocal, but as i sang each line, i fought to fight from going flat ......each line...especially "head games." trying to support the voice with a full stomach was beyond difficult. let this little story serve as warning to all beginners.... do not try to sing intense songs on a full stomach.
