TMV World Legacy Member Adoney Posted February 23, 2014 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted February 23, 2014 https://app.box.com/s/2j9e82231z0zkaojfbhp Utilizing what is more of my natural range. Let me know what you think. I googled it and looked at how many steps it takes to transpose tenor to bass clef and transposed down the original studio tracks, then recorded the vocals. Felipe Carvalho
Sounds interesting and the quality is good. I like it. But its another song man. I would have difficulty to recognize it if you didnt say it was stand up and shout.
TMV World Legacy Member Adoney Posted February 23, 2014 Author TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted February 23, 2014 Are you sure? I mean, it is the original DIO studio tracks, minus the vocals, which are done by me of course.
Jens
sounds very good, but why didnt you record it in the original form?
TMV World Legacy Member Adoney Posted February 24, 2014 Author TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted February 24, 2014 sounds very good, but why didnt you record it in the original form? My dad wanted to know what it would sound like covering a Dio song with my natural range. So I transposed it down and tried to do something that a tenor might not be able to And Dio sings in such a way that it's almost impossible to imitate the sound and resonance he gets in his tenor range. And people always complain when I do imitations that I'm just imitating and don't do anything different, so this was an opportunity to.
Felipe Carvalho
Yes, sounds different due to the tunning, and the singing. Its not the same song anymore, to me of course.
