TMV World Legacy Member mvrasseli Posted July 3, 2010 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted July 3, 2010 WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS - QUEEN http://www.4shared.com/audio/Dd8eQg0L/we_are_the_champions.html WALKING ON AIR - KING CRIMSON http://www.4shared.com/audio/P6yV3Toz/walking_on_air.html I like so much those two songs and I should record them and I did , they are a way more dificulty than any other song I've recorded Altough they sounded better than the others for me and I hope for you to. I'm sorry for horrible pronunciation in "We are the champions", and for some notes out of pitch as well.... and for the playback problems too. TMV World Legacy Member ronws Posted July 3, 2010 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted July 3, 2010 I like both. Your voice is really smooth in "Walking on Air." I could imagine you using this song to woo women off their feet. You make it a love song. Well done. It was a little quiet in some places but I think you did that for mood and interpretation. TMV World Legacy Member kalapoka Posted July 4, 2010 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted July 4, 2010 hey man listened to 'we are the champions' ... quite good. you have good control on pitch, none of the notes sounded out of tune. its a hard song to do so this means you've done pretty well. What you can improve is your 'attitude' when you are singing - make it more rock. This is one of the best anthems of rock and you need to deliver it with much more intensity and power and confidence. I don't know how to explain that technically to you. hope that helps. Ashique M. Thanks, actually it's a love song and I never played this song for a girl but I fear Money is more important to them here in my place I was thinking about put some compressor on this sound but I realy think it's sounds more expressive this way. kalapoka hey man listened to 'we are the champions' ... quite good. you have good control on pitch, none of the notes sounded out of tune. its a hard song to do so this means you've done pretty well. Thanks, I think I was not prepared to do that song because I can't pronunciate the words well because it's very very dificult to me so I have no confidence doing this, I know the responsability. I need much training in pronunciation, next time I post a Brazilian song to you sang in portuguese(Yes, we don't speak spanish  ). I should post this songs here, They are my compositions, some are bad and some are horrible: http://www.jamendo.com/br/artist/Marcus_Rasseli I can tell you the songs what I sing are realy bad but there are my album of orchestral tracks that I have some apreciation on it. TMV World Legacy Member Olem Posted July 6, 2010 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted July 6, 2010 Hello, mvrasseli! I listened to your Queen cover and i liked it very much, the more laid-back version of this song worked for me even though i prefer the more rockier style. You have a very clean, strong voice. The thing you could and should try to improve is, as you said, your pronounciation. By the way, i have a brasilian wife, i am swedish and we live in sweden. My wife´s residence when she lived in Brasil was Rio de Janeiro. Where are you living?
TMV World Legacy Member mvrasseli Posted July 6, 2010 Author TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted July 6, 2010 Thanks, I'm from Espirito Santo a step from Rio. Então você fala português? TMV World Legacy Member ronws Posted July 6, 2010 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted July 6, 2010 I'm jealous of anyone living in South America. Guns and Roses always tours there. The people love hard rock and roll and are generous and lovely.
TMV World Legacy Member HolaChau Posted July 6, 2010 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted July 6, 2010 I wouldn't be so jealous, concerts are VERY expensive. And not only concerts. On: Only listened to We are the champions and liked it, but as someone said it could have been more "rockier" but I liked it.

TMV World Legacy Member ronws Posted July 7, 2010 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted July 7, 2010 A cheap concert I have been to here was at the Winstar Casino in Oklahoma, $30 USD for regular seating, to see a double bill of Robert Cray and Buddy Guy. The cheapest is Hot Summer Nights in Sherman, Texas, paid for by sponsors and the Chamber of Commerce. They've had local greats such as Bugs Henderson, Jeff Strahan, and legendary Ray Wylie Hubbard. My wife and I are friends with Hubbard. He wrote "Redneck Mothers" but Jerry Jeff Walker made a big hit out of it.
