IamHo
Like I mentioned, is it even common? When I sing "I'm a tita "NNNNNN" ium" the NNNN sounds nasally at instance. How do I fix this?
Owen Korzec
A little bit of nasality, where you barely even hear it, is okay and common. Sometimes in folk music a noticeable amount is okay. But you generally want to avoid it. As for removing it, first of all dont sustain the N, just pronounce it for a fraction of a second, sustain the vowels instead and be sure to not let the nasal quality of the "n" carry over to them. Second of all, fixing overall nasality is too complicated to describe over a forum so ask your teacher to help you remove it.
Felipe Carvalho
Just one thing: N and M ARE nasal consonants, they WILL sound nasal because thats what they are. Minimize them to avoid excessive nasality.
ronws
Once again, Felipe to the rescue. N is always a nasal sound. So, when singing "Titanium", Don't hang on the n sound. Hanging on the n sound is not singing. Hanging on the vowel sounds, that's singing.
