They spit on me in my homeland." Reminds me of some friends returning from active combat tours. And I have fractured lyrics in this song, on occasion. "Ain't found a way to grill peas, yet. I'll have another cigarette. Seems every hat leaves me with no hair." Anyway, bravo, David. I like how you did this song. Nice and bluesy, with a tight vibrato on the clean parts.
