Javastorm
I've been trying to add more weight to my voice in my upper register, and all-around pretty much. Also been working on attaining a mix...and I'm suspecting I have a light mix at certain points in the song, but not so sure in truth if it's that or just full chest. Linking the final mix of this cover and then a link to the vocals by itself if anything needs to be isolated or identified more easily. All feedback is much appreciated and welcome. Thanks. https://app.box.com/s/s5xcyr7vt1pxlhhptxyv https://app.box.com/s/q7qcvj8qxallqzfimba0
Jugulator
Good. I can hear that you force the higher notes a bit, and (maybe because of poor production) the higher parts sound a bit muffled.
Javastorm
Thanks for the feedback. The part of the song where I felt the most strain was at 3:59, where I struggled with the A#4 since it was so long, [i think I was more successful with the shorter A#4's earlier in the song] and then couldn't complete the run since I ran out of breath or just didn't support it properly from the beginning of the phrase. I'm still learning how to record and mix properly, still practicing. And still looking for more feedback.
