First time singing.

Let me start off by saying that, this is my first time singing ever.

I'd like to know how I can improve my singing, and what I'm possibly doing wrong.

I'm sure there are some experienced singers around, that could lead me the right way.

Thanks in advance. :D

Tried to sing it again, this time trying to hit the higher pitches compared to the last try.

I think I did it a bit better on some parts, but damn.. Singing is not easy.

You need some practice matching notes. Either with a teacher or someone with a good ear and an opposable thumb to point up or down.

Though I think your pitchiness could most be cleared up by not speaking the song. That is, when you sing, sing, don't speak. As it is, you are not controlling the exhale and you are using the residual pressure from collapsing lungs that most people use when speaking. You have to slow the escape of air. Listen to the music, match the note. Forget about lyrics for a moment and just listen to the melody. Even if you "la - la" all through the song.
