TMV World Legacy Member ronws Posted August 17, 2014 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted August 17, 2014 Dude, you really need to get that published and released. Most excellent. I did have a side question, though. Is your avatar, a pic of the "Tube" part of an homage to modernity in technology, and in music, considering that this is prog, albeit with a truly funky bass line? (My ultimate respect to the bass and drums on this, though the rest of the mix and arrangement is equally elegant.)
TMV World Legacy Member napoleonboot Posted August 17, 2014 Author TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted August 17, 2014 Many thanks for your comments Ron. I was happy that I managed to include a sort of R+B/blues style chorus into the vocals in a prog rock song! The tube (London undergound) picture is actually one I attached to different song I have on ReverbNation, but for some unkown reason it attaches itself to any other songs I have that don't have a specific image.. not nothing clever happening! (this one http://www.reverbnation.com/napoleonboot/song/16651544-you-havent-been-yourself) This song has a real human drummer on it, which makes a big difference to the feel. George can often be found playing electric stringy things, and singing... TMV World Legacy Member Validar Posted August 17, 2014 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted August 17, 2014 Everything you've posted in the past has been interesting both lyrically and musically, and this delivers, as well. Nicely done. I've never been skydiving, but I've zoomed in on Google Earth really, really fast.
