MB20
Is it counter-productive to practice different vocal methods together (as in in the same session)? e.g. sls, singing success, roger kain tough guide. Should I focus on these one program at a time or is it ok to practice them side by side? I wouldn't want to be doing one thing and find out it was detrimental to another practice method i was using. sorry if that's not a particularly good explination :/
ronws
It seems to me that there's a few here who have mixed schools of thought. Plenty that started with Brett Manning and changed over time to include this program. Others have ventured out to Jaime. I'd say do what works for you. MB20
ok, coming at it from a different angle.. is it possible to "blend" the techniques from different schools? say combining distortion taught by cvt and mix taught by sls

Jens
ive mixed them all to be honest, i dont belive in working with soley one technique. try many diffrent techinques throw away the exercises that you feel dont work and keep the ones that do. Then move on to the next program For instance ive worked with Ryv,TVs, CVT, Discoveryourvoice,SS,SLS etc. I picked the exercises that gave me results when i was traning by myself, for the stuff thats really advanced for YOU id work with a coach Thats my approach Cause you see on many forums people doing exercises and they go "Ive been trying to do the liptrill for two years but i still cant..." no exercise is that good exept perhaps messa di voce wich takes forever to master :P
