1. How far I could get with The four pillars of singing, assuming I'm at a beginner level?

2. Currently I can't seem to be able to sing very high, at my peak I resonate in my sinuses; is this chest/head/passagio?

1. Singing has maaany factors involved, learning how to sing is to get know yourself and it is often a different journey for everyone. Programs can give you a simplied version of how things work and give you a good foundation to expand upon. TFP could take you far, alot of people here like it. Every program doesn't work for everyone though, so there isn't really any guarantees that you will become the next Chris Cornell or something. ;)

2. Chest, head and passagio is imaginative pictures that many programs use. I do not use a program of that kind, but I can tell you that resonating in the sinus can be done at all pitch levels if one feels like having that. It is a matter of artistic choice. Some programs has a clear sound ideal though and will promote having the velum port open or closed.

Hi CBG

Assuming you are practicing regularly, you will experience a huge leap forward pretty quickly. If you actually make the time and investment to train with me over the internet or come to Seattle for a training intensive, I can assure you, your vocals will fundamentally transform into something you cant even believe is possible right now. And thats not hype. But its a team effort, you have to do your part.

Do you own "The Four Pillars of Singing"? If not, I recommend my new package for first time students. Its $250 for a complete digital download of "Pillars" and three internet lessons. This is a "kit" that will really get you off to a great start.

Why dont you send me an email and we can discuss, Id be happy to mentor you and help you achieve your vocal goals and am quite confident that together, we can make that happen.
