darkclaw3000
a question came to my mind recently.. there are alot of different kind of schools, teachings, methods out there. and definitely all teach the individual to sing better, but with so many different kind of sources, won't one get confused by its variety? Martin H
A simple answer would be: Choose what works best for you. :)
Steven Fraser
a question came to my mind recently.. there are alot of different kind of schools, teachings, methods out there. and definitely all teach the individual to sing better, but with so many different kind of sources, won't one get confused by its variety? darkclaw3000: Only if one tries to deal with comparing and contrasting them. Then, the effort is to ferret out the actual desirable actions from within the (very often fractured and confusing) language with which they are expressed, and discovering those blind spots where the approaches cannot see that they understand things incorrectly or incompletely in some areas. I agree with Martin H. Just pick one that connects with the way you think and want to sing.... and then do it.

joshual
Yep, but when you're a beginner you can't know what works best for you. So many methods all claims to be the best, all claims that you can sing every style you want but unfortunatly it's not that simple. It i take my own experience, i want to sing in soul/rock style, it 's avery particular style not half rock-half soul, and (even i don't have bought all the methods on this planet yet lol) i've never found a method that seems to fit my needs... Jared
I'd say find a teacher that 'clicks' with you. I went to a couple before finding someone I can more or less trust. I think it's better to stick to one teacher...once you've found them.
