Hey everyone. I'm a Vocal Performance major at Georgia Regents University and I am in my Junior year of voice study. My voice teacher (of 12 years, I am 27) suggested that I am ready to move into the realm of Wagner, and I just performed a recital of O Du mein holder Abenstern and Warm as the Autumn Light. I am looking for some feedback. I realize that I made some mistakes in my German, and I am smoothing those over now.
One of my biggest questions is regarding the amount of 'bite' I have on my sound. Is that generally considered desirable? Is it overshadowed by the formant frequency that my voice creates? How is my sense of line? Any and all pointers/tips/insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Oh, and sorry about the Wagner being sideways. My camera-girl was confused at first.
New to Wagner, any pointers?

Thanks! I'm not sure what my fach is exactly yet. I'm either going to be a bass baritone or a lyric baritone because of how my voice acts in my passagio. I currently feel more comfortable in my midrange, particularly between Ab and Db, but from what I learned that is pretty typical for a developing baritone.
When you say it sounds like I push, do you mean in my high range or low range? Any places in particular?
