Yeah its a cover, its Milky Chance with Stolen Dance, we actually took the song a bit higher then the orignal because I wasn't able to reach the low points in the rest of the song. Unfortunatly I can't play guitar myself yet, planning on starting with that next week. We did however have a capo on the 1st fret indeed during singing this.

I do have a question alot of people here talk about there own range, what is an easy way to measure this? Seeing in curious to what my pitch range is.

As far as face to face feedback, this was recorded during one of my singing lessons . It was however recorded with my mobile phone ( still saving up for something better).

That strained sound is what I noticed aswell although while singing it, it did not feel like that or sound like that in my ears.
