  1. I think your voice technic is better than Steve's technic but I'm a fan of Kansas and I have in my mind the Walsh's interpretation of this song from "Point of Know Return" and Steve's voice sound like it's a softly and weak voice dislike your interpretation that's more loud. Anyway it's a style question and You're a amazing singer and the audio sounded very professional. For those who are looking for free VST reverb I think freeverb is a good choice but it doesn't have a good GUI. I'd say that the better free reverb you can find is EpicVerb, It has a nice GUI and a lot of presets I use in most of my records, It's a VST plugin.

Have you a great Rock'n Roll day!

I like both. Your voice is really smooth in "Walking on Air." I could imagine you using this song to woo women off their feet. You make it a love song. Well done. It was a little quiet in some places but I think you did that for mood and interpretation.

Thanks, actually it's a love song and I never played this song for a girl but I fear Money is more important to them here in my place :( I was thinking about put some compressor on this sound but I realy think it's sounds more expressive this way.

hey man listened to 'we are the champions' ... quite good. you have good control on pitch, none of the notes sounded out of tune. its a hard song to do so this means you've done pretty well. What you can improve is your 'attitude' when you are singing - make it more rock. This is one of the best anthems of rock and you need to deliver it with much more intensity and power and confidence. I don't know how to explain that technically to you.

Thanks, I think I was not prepared to do that song because I can't pronunciate the words well because it's very very dificult to me so I have no confidence doing this, I know the responsability. I need much training in pronunciation, next time I post a Brazilian song to you sang in portuguese(Yes, we don't speak spanish  ).

I should post this songs here, They are my compositions, some are bad and some are horrible:

I can tell you the songs what I sing are realy bad but there are my album of orchestral tracks that I have some apreciation on it. See you!

  3. To be honest I think was the better song you've posted, it's good. I think that you sing more on tune in this song because You use less the "passagio" and I think it's your biggest problem, when you have to switch headvoice and normal voice I feel a great difference on tone even considering the bad record equipment. Correct me if I'm wrong. See you!

WALKING ON AIR - KING CRIMSON

    http://www.4shared.com/audio/P6yV3Toz/walking_on_air.html

I like so much those two songs and I should record them and I did :P , they are a way more dificulty than any other song I've recorded Altough they sounded better than the others for me and I hope for you to. I'm sorry for horrible pronunciation in "We are the champions", and for some notes out of pitch as well.... and for the playback problems too.

  5. Hi again! To be honest you didn't played the guitar riff very well man :( . I'm a fan of Kansas and I like Dust in the Wind so much, one of my favorite songs. I think this song needs softly interpretation, I think you Did it like Steinhard would do. I think a good way to get the feeling of the music it's relax and remind the music before start the song like classical musicians Do, It works when you have to play complex pieces and you can't make almost any mistake. I think concentration is the mastership for any musician, listen to this man:

He was the greatest guitarrist of the world because He rarely makes mistakes, He have a impressive ability and He Do the best interpretations I've seen, bringing the feeling wich the Author wanted to show.

    Well I wrote a lot!!See you :D

Thanks, I Think I don't have a realy good Breath Control but I'm trying working on it and I think need a little more resonance as well. I think tenors have more confidence on their voices...or not.

Here's the record I made a moment ago, just out from the stove.

    Still You Turn me on

It's a little noiser, try don't hear to it with earphones I think it's uncomfortable.

OBS. On "Lucky Man" I put the as Author "King Crimson" but the correct is "ELP"

    See you!

  7. I agree with ronws, I think you have a good voice quality. I have a good tone perception and I can tell you the only notes that made me crazy was 1:00min and 2:10min in "Show me heaven ever". I don't know sure but it seems like your troath was a little strain in "Use somebody" maybe it's why some notes sound a little unpitched. Your vibrato is realy good for me and your low notes are great, I think it's rarely in most of women singers. Keep posting your songs, I'm sure you can do better ones. :D

  8. ronws

Thanks for the tips. Do you work with electrical stuff?? I'm an eletrotechnical enginer and I play guitar too, I know it's not the aim from the topic but if you want to listen my classical guitar Jam I've made:

    http://www.4shared.com/audio/90Xm8gbU/thekingisdead.html

It's realy an improvisation, some parts are good anothers not so much.

    See you!

    Sheepdog

Thanks, Morrissey is a great singer, I think his vocal range is close to mine as well

    gracesong

Thanks!I think that is an interesting point. Most of people listen to the music just for fun and they are not worrying about the details, that's why people listen to low quality audio from internet. People who listen music for secondary purposes that put the music on the tops.

  9. analog

Thank you by the good words!

    Steve

    Thank you !!

I realy can't explain why I dislike, but most of singers I hear have a timbre far from mine. About the voice in the head, I knew that and the first time I recorded my voice(2000) I realy felt the diference and since that day I've trying acept it.

About the low latency audio, I'm using WinXP(very old I know....) and Linux Ubuntu. I can get realy low latency but I lost in quality. I can use a amplifier to have the feedback but I can't record with it. :(

    Edit:

I was testing asio4all now and I get a low latency audio. The lastest test I did I had another CPU and It didn't work well because had a "plock" in the audio. Thank you!

  10. jonpall

Thank you jon! The point is that my voice to me sounds like it has not enough articulation, sounds like it's a little "lazy" to get the notes I don't know why, maybe listening to Greg Lake to much

    ronws

    Thank you!

I don't have a professional equipment, I have a common computer mic and an onboard sound with medium quality. My first records were not good as well, but spent some time recording I discovered some "tricks" to get the recordings a little better, like the distance between the sound and mic and another things. I use to add some compression and reverb too, I have some experience with sound processors(about 4 years) what help me to do a little better works.

I tried sometimes sing with feedback phones, but I had to much delay like 0.3 sec so I give up.

Thank you guys, greats from Brazil.

  11. Hi, It's my first post here though I know this forum about 2 months I think. I realy need a vocal review, some people said I'm better but I realy don't like my voice I think it's so horrible tough I know I have a fair pitch, altough my records sound a little unpitched because I use to do thoses in a Dry Room where is my computer and I realy dont have much feedback from my voice.

    Try to listen it:
