Adoney, thank you. If I had a better backing track and could prevent some mic clips... :)

Hi there,
I've always wanted to sing this great song, but there were no backing tracks. So, finally here I am...
The backer isn't that good, but this is like a thirst that I wanna sing this song
-
This is a well-known problem of Soundcloud. You can use box.com or dropbox.com to upload your covers. BTW Soundclick allows to upload cover songs.
-
Thank you. Yes, I feel certain tension when I'm trying to pull more chest when singing higher notes.

Hi there,
Never sung songs by Nickelback mainly because Chad is a thick baritone. Well, let's try... Any feedback would be appreciated.
-
Thank you, Ron! Very useful feedback indeed.

Hi everyone,
Here I am with a new band called The Balance. Please rate the songs and my singing. And please be rude and honest about my pronunciation Thanks
-
Great song, man! As I can hear your higher notes (e.g., A4, B4) lack head resonance a bit. But this might be because of the production issues...
-
Jugulator,
ha...maybe you should throw a version into the mix. This is such a fun song to sing, would be cool to hear different interpretations.
Thanks. I'm gonna throw lotsa original stuff very soon ;)
-
Cool. Now I don't know whose version I like more
-
Great. I like it. Using both clean and raspy sound makes the song sound really amazing.
-
Kiske sings it in a more "chesty" manner, but your sound isn't that bad at all. Moreover, I like you vibrato more than Michael's :)
-
Very good. The production isn't bad at all, too.
-
Thank you, Elena! "The phantom..." is one of the best songs by Nightwish.
-
Did you hear any major pitchiness by the way?
Well, nothing bothered my ears when listening to your cover.
-
Incredible! Great performance and video!
-
It really strikes me, man Cool  Do you have any hoarseness after you sang this way for a certain period of time?
-
Thank you, Ola :)
-
Thank you very much, guys!
-
Wow nice! Great cover. Out of curiosity, how do you get that distortion?
Thank you, man! You're a great singer with your own type of distortion
The key is around my soft palate Actually, I've got a number of vocal training videos explaining some aspects including how to get this type of distortion. Unfortunately, all of them are in Russian, but I've been thinking about making them in English.

Hi folks,
As you might notice, I'm a huge fan of IM and make covers of this great band time after time. Well, this is another one - Run to the hills. Any feedback would be appreciated
-
Man, not bad at all. You should focus on breath support, glottal compression and chest resonance to build up a thick and powerful mixed voice.
-
Very good for a one take recording. The voice reminds me Paul Stanley here.

Hi there,
Any critique and useful thoughts are welcome
Cheers :)
