high notes are now easier, but they sound weak and out of control

Hi folks.

check this sample tune.

I wanted to point out the high notes in this song, they are there for me now, and are easier to get to since i have a handle on bridging (i think), but I am struggling with how much breath pressure to apply, how much breath to hold back, and in addition some vowel work.

Thats what my ears hear..Anything else to more experienced ears???

ps.. a quick and incomplete cover of Tom Cochranes Untouchable One, and this has effects etc in it.. But I still think you can hear whats going on.
