TMV World Legacy Member oh2theno Posted October 17, 2012 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted October 17, 2012 At the moment, I am recovering from (possibly) vocal fold nodules. I know there is a slight breathiness, and my head voice is a little shaky. Without further ado: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Hh8_f08PpU
TMV World Legacy Member ronws Posted October 17, 2012 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted October 17, 2012 I really liked it and I don't listen that much to R & B or soul. So, someone has to have a good voice that is suited for it for me to comment. And I think you did a good job. Take it easy, keep healing but I think a soft version like this is going to help you heal. I have used a song as therapy, as well. When I injured my voice, I found that working on "I Don't Believe in Love" by Queensryche actually helped me. So, good for you. And give yourself some time. It's all going to come back, though you sound like you are on a good path, now.
TMV World Legacy Member oh2theno Posted October 17, 2012 Author TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted October 17, 2012 Thanks, ronws. While I prefer to make music that is more jazz-influenced anti-folk, I prefer to sing R&B songs. They're a lot more fun. They're also great for practicing my technique throughout my range.
