TMV World Legacy Member mightyTREX Posted February 21, 2014 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted February 21, 2014 Hi! First post here, let me know your thoughts on my voice and what suggestions you have on how to improve it. This is a cover of ONE OK ROCK'S Wherever You Are: (Not sure how to embed this...) I had to lower the track by 2 semitones for more comfortable singing, otherwise my pitch and key were all off. I am an obvious beginner, so any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully we can help each other grow and develop our voices Let me know what you think, much appreciated! Thanks!
TMV World Legacy Member Snejk Posted February 21, 2014 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted February 21, 2014 You have a good base voice and once tamed I think you will have a very wide range. I think you need to find support though; most notes sound wobbly and "unsure".. When you do find it, pitch will improve automatically. Diaphragm, that's where I would start :> Keep up the good work :>
TMV World Legacy Member mightyTREX Posted February 21, 2014 Author TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted February 21, 2014 Ahhh....I see! I never noticed how prominent the "unsure" feeling was until now; I will work on finding support and vocal confidence. A big problem is my pitchiness, I have trouble finding where my voice sits in the song, which leads me to being unsure of my key and placement. Thank you for the critique and your support! I will do my best to improve :D
