TMV World Legacy Member Privid Posted February 26, 2014 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted February 26, 2014 Hey, This is my performance of My Way, popularly sung by Frank Sinatra. I have been taking voice lessons for about three years now, singing traditional pop and jazz music, and I am interested in showing my work to the world to see how it makes them feel. As such, I would love to hear your general impressions and comments on my interpretation (the song was adapted to fit into the context of a school class that is about to graduate, therefore 'our way') and technique, bar the pitch issues which I'm painfully aware of ... Thank you very much in advance!
TMV World Legacy Member mvrasseli Posted March 2, 2014 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted March 2, 2014 You have potential. Actually I'm not a professional singer, so what I can say is that your pitch is ok, I don't see it as a big problem to you. Your english is not that good in this song, but in Christmas Waltz it's a little better for me. That's a question of training, you sing very well. TMV World Legacy Member Privid Posted March 2, 2014 Author TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted March 2, 2014 Hey, thanks a lot for your time! I've received this critique before, but as I am not a native English speaker, it is a bit harder to hear; could you point out to me the most glaring parts where my pronunciation is off? Thanks.
