I think you'll likely need to train for further control. One way is to practice singing every vowel on every pitch in your range, and try stabilizing them with good breath support. Another way is to sing songs slowly and try to stabilize each part specifically. You can also use your to play and sing along to scales, melodies, intervals, all sorts of things. There are hundreds of ways. I guess in short, I think you should train. It's not a bad tone, but can be trained to gain more command. A teacher will help you much more efficiently and quickly.
