RIP I know it's so difficult to cover a Dio song His voice is so unique and I can't equal him His bright, tone... but I made an effort to bring you this cover. Not the best cover I've made but, anyway I hope you enjoy. Sorry for the backing track, there isn't a Karaoke or Instrumental version of this song and I had to made it by myself. Still sounds a little bit the voice of Dio and the equals changed with the modification. Then my voice didn't fit in the song... I've been living in hell to equal the song! and it doesn't still sound good for me. Crappy voice of mine... why I'm torturing choosing a Dio song!!! hahahaha. Hahaha.The weirdest thing is I think you are harmonizing with him sometimes. Normally someone either mimmicks a pitch and or ends up musically... Just completely out of tune. But you're mostly in tune it's almost like a low harmony is getting turned up. The sound quality is really weird though. What kind of mic setup are you using? Any weird effects cause it is pretty fuzzed? If you are going to use the original track you might be able to take out a bit of the EQ spectrum to poke the spectrum where your voice sits forward. Do you have a small acapella sample of your timbre? It's fascinating me. Anyway, i'm not the go to Dio guy. I can't even get this voice working right. Robert, Jens, Feilpe, and a few others might have more help with getting you into Dio zone. The way I hear it, it sounds really twanged with kind of a 'ehrrr' vowel mod, but I'm sure it's a lot more complex than that. I've never been down this path, but you're in the right place. The equals of the original song passed out when I quit Dio's voice and then my voice doesn't fit it the mix. For this is why all the mix sounds weird and fuzzed. All song sounds fuzzed. I think this is the last time I'll use a song with no Instrumental/Karaoke version hahaha. Did you mean eq, short for equalization, adjustment of certain frequencies to make timbres blend? I don't hear any Dio in your voice but that is not bad. I think you did okay on this song because your pitch was good, even if it was an octave down. It is better to make a good sound than to sing the highest note ever.
