On some of the higher notes, your tone reminds me of Bryan Adams, which I mean in a good way. As for accent, I can hear it and it doesn't bother me, though others might mention it. Which is funny because Paul Hewson (aka Bono) is irish and still sounds irish when he is singing. So, who's to say that accent is all that important? Work on relaxing your voice so it sound fuller/deeper, the tone should be closer to that of your speaking voice. Hope that helps Besides singing and teaching I also make beats and remixes.
