I just got home and recorded this while unpacking, I tried to record outside on my way home but too windy ;/
Anyway, this song is a testament to my truly not being a tenor. This song goes higher but in order for me to manage the "oh-oo-oh" before "baby, I'd die for you" I need to take a breathier approach or my voice cracks. If I do it overdrive, yeah, it cracks even worse at the narrow "oo".
Anyway. I decided to start being more active on the boards, hoping to improve my voice.
So, what do you guys think?

Man you take those high notes clean and confident! Love it!!!

Actually yeah, I want to make an arrangement featuring more instruments... I am however crap at that so I hope I can get some help from friends who can play guiotar/bass/etc :3
Thanks for the kind comment :3

Thanks for the comments!! The idea was like... I got the line "bitch please" in my head and thought; "what if to make a degrading rap text and sing it like a cheezy ballad?" The lyrics didn't exactly become that ghettoish but the result was as intended
Now though I wish I could make it more rocky so I can play it with my band but... I can only make ballads so I have no idea how to go about doing something else with it... Glorp!!!

Oh :3 Bump... xD

I made a sloppy vid recording of this until my friend makes a good instrumental after which I can record in the studio...
Anyway something I've noticed is that I can take any vowel much higher now... In the last verse "It's time to make a change, it's time to get her life back for good" I do it without getting loud... Before I could only take such notes very shouty in EH and OH vowels... Weird..:
Anyway, any feedback is much appreciated!

Just checked back and dang, thanks for that comment vamacoustics! Although you give me far more credit than I deserve Before I'm ready to sing in front of people (other than karaoke) I need to improve heaps and heaps, talking about years
Anyway, acting the words, not just singing them... Warmed my heart hearing that!
Cheers!

Thanks a bunch Matt! Though I guess I'm not that new, I've been singing for two years now but some learn slower than others but it's the fun and passion that counts! :)

Tack..
Yeah, that's my dilemma... I can't overdrive the vowels... But that begs the question, how can I sing loud and full "oo" or "ee" notes without resorting to a falsetto/head-coordination..
My highest falsetto notes (As you know in Sweden, we call it falsetto, regardless of breathiness or not) are kinda low in pitch (G over tenor C, G# if I scream), I've heard your screams and I would trade my entire voice for what you got, as well as that whistle you have, ANY day of the week... EVERYONE's got a middle register, and you can train that. But not everyone got the extremes, either high or low...
Big thanks anyway :)
