An original song with a music video where I longboard while holding a DSLR camera. Say yes to challenges:
-
Way cool. I have been an FF fan from the start because Dave is such a melodic writer. And he tells stories.
And this was really nice as an unplugged version. Well done.
Thanks Ron, Dave is a great writer. Glad you enjoyed it unplugged!

My 99th Cover! The last video from my most recent acoustic cover album, Foo Fighters Everlong:
-
This is one of my favorite songs by Shakey, with rough interesting guitar and catchy meaningful vocals
-
"Had to ... so messed up!" priceless.
Good work, as always. But I am afraid that new setting requires explanation.
Thanks Ron! It needs lots of explanation! And explanation shall come!
-
A cover of Shakey Graves "Dearly Departed" in celebration of Shakey Graves new album 'And The War Came" out now!
-
Georgie joins me for a live mashup. This is a rare 'raw recording' of me singing so enjoy!
-
Thanks Adolph, my name should be Trenton Eliopoulos.
Thanks Ron, I always get a smile from your comments. And I went to an American school where many people moved to Greece from America, so yes we are American.

I freaking love your voice, your avatar, and your taste in music (I kind of stalked your Youtube vids)
Thanks terowyn! That makes my day.
NiceHey Over..... How about inviting Abi to join The Modern Vocalist World ? It would be cool to see her have her very own profile page
Warmest Regards,
Adolph
Thanks Adolph, I'll see if she wants to

An acoustic cover with Abi Amis. This is one of my favorite covers that I've ever done; thanks Abi for singing with me!
-
New acoustic original song!
-
Excellent, as usual, Overdrive. And I like how you share tabs and the way to play the song. You are a blessing to the world and a blessing to me. You have a voice that is so expressive, from melancholy to ennui. You are a singer. And an entertainer. And you are doing it the old-fashioned way, playing for anyone who will listen. And, eventually, the demand will increase where you have to make an album. Covers, originals, whatever. Let me know when that happens.
Thanks again Ron, I'm glad to have you listening
-
I can tell that you really connect with those lyrics. I like how you change the tone/dynamics on phrases like, "I burn every picture of yours. Is that not enough?" and "Do you cry my name in the dark, like I do yours?" Nice work! Shows some real sensitivity.
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Finished another cover of a great new Rise Against track! It has excellent lyrics. Thanks to my dad for filming!
-
I liked it. And I looked through and re-visited "Counting Stars." That was way good.
Thanks Ron! And Counting Stars is an oldie now (over a year) but I remember having a lot of fun with it. Glad you like it!

I'm now at over 800 subscribers! Here's a new acoustic Rise Against cover:

Cool beans. I noticed you have done more than one RA cover. And your voice sounds right on this. You should write stuff like this.
Bunch of college kids out there who would spend money and make you stinking rich.
Thanks Ron! Rise Against is my favorite band, and I've been lowering their vocals an octave which makes it great for my voice.
And that'd be great, but college kids have no money!
-
Rise Against's new album is officially released today! To celebrate, here is an acoustic cover of my favorite song from it!

I like your version better than the original, which is actually kind of a dance song. You have more "melancholy" in your voice and I like your slimmed-down arrangement. It reminds me of what Annie Lennox said, (paraphrased) "It's only really a song if you can do it with one voice and one instrument, like piano or guitar."
Thanks Ron! I'm glad you like my version. I also enjoy slimmed down arrangements

Cool song. And I also enjoyed the home studio tour shown in the channel. "Are all these guitars yours?" - Pink Floyd
Thanks Ron! Glad you enjoyed it and the home studio tour. They are all my guitars! The rest of my family isn't really musical

-
Thanks Keith, and thanks David. That's probably a result of lowering the chorus an octave, making it blend with the rest.

Thanks Ron!
Right! That was a vlog video with no singing, but explains it all:
