The song was pretty difficult for me but I got through it :P

Maybe. It's best to pick a coach / teacher that can do what you want to do.
Have you come across some teachers who do this rock singing style that I'm looking for? Maybe even a video on youtube?

What is your warm up / work out routine?
I use a Warm-Up from Eric Arcenaux
Forceful Shh's
Lip Roll Scales
La Ga, Ta La, Ya Ya with Relaxed Jaw
Reflecting a bit on this, maybe because what I really want is powerful high vocals (rock style) and Eric seems to lean towards a light controlled head voice, I might have been following the wrong teacher!

Dude, you have a lot of good stuff going on here. Obviously, you sing into your "mask"- which is awesome. You have a good buzz goin on. Your tone sounds great. I think you should work in your vowels a bit - might help you get what you're looking for . But, I'm not really sure what you're looking for lol.
For some reason it all sounds really bad to me? Is it all out-of-tune? And more specifically I just can't hit those high notes. I got lucky once in that recording with a high note, but that's a rare occasion! lol

Every now and then I realize how long I've been working on my singing and how little distance I've come, and I get really bummed out! Can you please help me?

I'm working on stuff like this, and would love to know what you guys think or if you have any tips.

I was hoping for some constructive criticism. Two problems that I noticed were that my voice sounds weak and I had to use auto-tune. Maybe you guys have some insight into how to fix this?
-
One take, it's rough :P
-
Oh I'm sorry you guys didn't like the video. Too many cuts I assume?
And thanks ron! haha I like your analysis (and I'm a big fan of Dave Grohl). :P

Yeah I really like your tone for this song, and if you're comfortable when you do it, it should be okay.

I find this song quite a challenge for me, what is my biggest issue? Support?
I've been singing songs like this for a while now thinking that I just needed to "get used to using head voice" but I'm not sure if that's working.

hahaha thanks! You're probably talking about my Hot Problems Parody (Fat Problems) haha!
-
Please let me know what you think!

This sounds great!
The vocal could sit better in the mix, but I've no idea how to do that.
Thanks Sound26! I heard someone else mention the vocals being too loud as well! Thanks for letting me know, you guys are probably right! It might just be a case of turning it down a few dB :P

Thanks for the support Ron! I also think Taylor is a really great drummer, it's always fun to play along to his stuff :)

I know that my vocals sound bad, I'm just not sure why.

I definitely would like some comments on how to improve, especially for the chorus which I probably yelled.

Thanks Vocalist Dad and thank you Tanya, I'll work on keeping the palate lifted, and trying to express more emotion. Do people usually not drop their jaw? I thought the opposite was true and that a lifted jaw would cause tension or something along those lines. Is this not true?

As you probably can notice, it's a bit of a joke, but the technique's used to make those sounds are NOT! haha :P

Thanks Nick! And this song stays comfortably in chest for you? That's amazing! Maybe I just have a low voice but I feel like a lot of the song was in my passagio. I tried to add some twang/distortion so that it didn't have such a high tone.
