TMV World Legacy Member gno Posted September 3, 2011 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted September 3, 2011 The Future sounds great. The guitar / voice mix is favoring the guitar a tad. I'd like to hear the vocals a bit more. My Music:http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=897808
TMV World Legacy Member livvy614 Posted September 8, 2011 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted September 8, 2011 I agree with guitartrek, I'd like to hear the vocals a bit more too. But I think "The Future" sounds great, really enjoyable to listen to. Vocals are strong, I just think the volume on them needs to be cranked up a bit. doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. -Albert Einstein's definition of insanity. Oh oops, I'm sorry, the song I was listening to is "Contingency," I didn't realize The Future is the album name ;) doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. -Albert Einstein's definition of insanity. TMV World Legacy Member livvy614 Posted September 8, 2011 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted September 8, 2011 I think what I can say after browsing through all of the songs is that (like a lot of bands do so it's not necessarily bad) all the songs sound pretty similar, I'd like to have heard a song that picked up a bit more, or that had more of a drastic bridge of some sort (sorry I don't know technical terms for anything, I'm a singer but not a technical musician, haha). But again, that's just me, there's a lot of bands that I won't buy an entire album from because their songs all just sound too similar. I think you're music is awesome and I'd love to hear a song from you that's much less mellow. Sorry to ramble, I'm just trying to make sense without knowing any musical terms ;) doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. -Albert Einstein's definition of insanity.
