A couple of things. Make the oo sound (u) with your lips instead of your tongue. I hear little too much y as in "you" in there.

Second, commit to the note. Your are holding yourself back because you are listening to the singer that you are singing along with. Stop that, because it will make you let and it will make you cut the support of your note because you want to hear what she is doing.

Instead, you are the singer, she is the back-up singer. In America, we have a phrase for when you must drive a borrowed car or one that is new to you. "Drive it like you stole it." Which means, trust your instincts.

Same with singing. Sing the song like you wrote it and no one else did.
