You could sing the phone book and make it a work of art. You just have that "thing." I know, I get it, you can play bass, drums, you probably can noodle some stuff on guitar, too. But you are a singer. As far as I am concerned, this is "Anthem" by Keith Goehner. Do not change a thing. Do not listen to people trying to tell you how to sing like Ray. Don't listen to people trying to tell you how to sing "tenor." It's all hubris. Do this song, this way, always. Too bad the KTVA contest is not based on this song. You would be a sure lock for the winner. At least among people that have at least three brain cells working. (oops, I probably said that out loud, didn't I?)
