TMV World Legacy Member Snejk Posted September 18, 2013 Author TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted September 18, 2013 Well Ron, you have the gift of foresight Listen to this... Earlier today I wrote an add on bandfinder.se about me searching a new band. 10 minutes goes, 10 MINUTES! before I get a phone call from Denmark. They have listened to the two songs I recorded with Archania and they want to fly me down to Denmark and hear me singing their songs and grab a few beers. They have toured Europe alot, released two albums and play on every festival possible... Take a listen; I surely will take this chance and apply my own voice to their songs. TMV World Legacy Member ronws Posted September 19, 2013 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted September 19, 2013 Well Ron, you have the gift of foresight Listen to this... Earlier today I wrote an add on bandfinder.se about me searching a new band. 10 minutes goes, 10 MINUTES! before I get a phone call from Denmark. I am not an expert of singing, I sometimes get on people's nerves, but I have an ear for things. And you have "that" voice. Just be prepared for success when it happens. If the band signs you on, you have no more free time. None of this once every two weeks' gig at some biergarten (or whatever swedish is for a pub.) You will be working. And you have to find the center within yourself. For all the things of the kingdom will be shown to you. Each lovely distraction can be taken to excess. But always remember, it's the music, the song, the gift of the chance to sing. Keep that as a candle in yourself. All the recreational things you have now, like beer, whatever, is limited by your budget as an unknown. Once you become the big rock star singer, all those things are easier to get. And to drown in. (Side effect of reading too many bios, recently, that of Al Jourgensen of Ministry, who is actually cuban. ) Bless you and you deserve good things to happen to you.
