TMV World Legacy Member VoxNoob Posted April 10, 2014 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted April 10, 2014 Sup guys? I'm not trained but I've decided to take music seriously. I'll be working with the 4 Pillars of Singing as soon as a couple of bills are paid off, so I'm just asking for your opinions. What would you suggest may be problem areas that I should focus on? I really cant add any grit to my voice without either yelling in a high pitch until my voice breaks or compressing so hard it hurts. Any ideas on how to over-come this? And hey...thanks for the critique! (theres a guitar solo from 3:42-4:45 - forgot to cut this for you, sorry) http://youtu.be/dzELSSODXzM (couldnt get youtube shortcode to work)

TMV World Legacy Member ronws Posted April 12, 2014 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted April 12, 2014 That was cool. You have the same tone of voice that he had. What's your secret? A single malt from the Spey Side region? They say it's the water in the highlands. And thank you for rescuing this obscure track from the archives of AC/DC. TMV World Legacy Member Jugulator Posted April 12, 2014 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted April 12, 2014 Man, not bad at all. You should focus on breath support, glottal compression and chest resonance to build up a thick and powerful mixed voice. http://www.youtube.com/user/IgorJugulatorZotov
