TMV World Legacy Member ronws Posted May 24, 2014 TMV World Legacy Member Posted May 24, 2014 That was pretty good. You should hear my outtake from a cover I am working on. I thought it would be cool, "day in the life" sort of thing to just generally record going through a song the first time, where I look for the vocal line I am going to end up with. Crashing on a word and not getting a passable version until near the end of the song. Many people here talk about only bringing your A game. Well, even the A game starts somewhere. And there is a process to producing a finished recording. A number of times, I have done a cover that I recorded in one and only one take. Other times, I have recorded 10 times in two different sessions. It be's that way, sometimes.
