One of the songs I am working on for my first CD

I record these at home, and I know I need to work on my vocals, I usually don't practice vocally until a week or so before a gig, and should be doing it daily. I know what bugs me about the performances and would appreciate some fresh ears on it.

These are done with minimal warm up as I have to grab the time when the dogs are outside and my roommate not home, so they are rough, and ignore my guitar playing, taught myself, and would NEVER call myself a guitar PLAYER.

Blessings and Balance,

Ernest

I thought it sounded good. Your scratch tape or work tape sounds as good or better as some people's efforts after a few weeks and all kinds of recording tricks.

I think what you are looking for is a solidified melody line. You have great pitch and a lovely tone. I think the open sustained chords are making you feel spacious but you want to be more intimate. It's a good song. I really want to hear it when you reach the finish line.
