TMV World Legacy Member heidiann Posted June 30, 2014 TMV World Legacy Member Posted June 30, 2014 Been taking singing lessons for years but still feel like a beginner!!! This is a track I've been working on for a while. I usually find anything "belty" as quite a challenge. I'm trying to improve that and my delivery. This was done in a couple takes comped together and after many many rounds of practice but still can hear a lot of snags. Would be great to get everyone's else's thoughts on it.... https://www.dropbox.com/s/jqbc71bhdg21cwc/KS-You%26Me-30-June-1.mp3 (Sorry for the download, soundcloud won't let me upload it b/c it sounds too close to the original w/the backing track and they think it's a copyright infringement!)
TMV World Legacy Member ronws Posted July 1, 2014 TMV World Legacy Member Posted July 1, 2014 I couldn't hear anything wrong. And it used to be, I would ask someone to use less effects on the track. But actually, the unspoken and spoken rule around here is to make a pro quality recording. And you did that. I don't know the song but it sounded good with your singing it.
