I think Jonpall was asking if he had a good analysis of his voice and and what he have to work on ;-). It necessary to know ( even if you're singing is good) if you are on the right way .

Hi jonpall Great singing here! I just listened to bed of roses ( anyway speedyshare make safari crash...). On the verse it sound a bit nasal, you may get more clarity trying to fix that. For the chorus, seems like you're pushing too much and bridge too late ' for tonight i'll sleep'. That make you push too much. My 2 cents, good singing anyway ;-)

Hi buddy My thoughts: With a good coaching you will make it for sure. The breathing/support technique is what you have to work on. The placement also is important, for now it's moving all the time. In the verse, listen to J.Labrie is more whispering it and you seem to 'chest it' too much. I don't know the exact terms ( really not a pro), some will explain it better, but you force too much on your throat. I would add to not take care of singing volume too much But for 3 months of practising i think it's really good, some notes are very high! The abilities are here, just need to shape that voice ;-) Another thing, maybe don't try to force and imitate Labrie on the high notes, what i do for me is that i try to catch the overall sounding but try also to do it with my own voice (eay to say, hard to do). Keep on rocking Gerald!!!

for me it was not louder, i thought you were not singing but more like talking. Maybe try to do a better recording ;-)

Hi jonpall Good voice you have for me the scream is a little too ' hard ' for me, it doesn't sound natural in yout interprtation of the song. ( maybe it's because the sound is not good ;-) ). Maybe you can try also to make the song in original pitch. Seems that you lowered it about a third minor. Think it will suit your voice fine and adding some brightness to the voice. I'm not a pro at all, that's just what i thought at the first listening ;-). Thanxs for that song i'm adding it to my list, wonderful song!!
