Hi Jarom. Thanks.. How does one train pitch? I did both these songs in around 40 min including, so my intention here was not to be exactly on pitch and I was indeed a bit lazy. But having listened to my recording, I am not able to spot pitchy areas in "Have you really loved a woman". Can you please point out specific times in the song where you feel the pitch is really off? Maybe I need to start training my ears along with training singing voice. Any tips on how this can best be achieved?
Have you really loved a women sounded completely on pitch to my ears. IRIS was the one that sounded pitchy.

You sound awesome on Have you really loved a women. I thought you sounded ok on IRIS but by far better on Have you Really loved a women. My main tip would be to work on pitch. I have problems with pitch sometimes too and its always because im being lazzy and not listening

I thought it was awesome so I posted it here to brag. Anyways.... is there anything you guys recommend me doing to make it better?

The number one thing I would say is confidence. Just boosting your confidence levels will help you to the highest high.

Great job Ellise! I get more nervous singing in front of family and friends than I do to a room full of strangers haha, you got courage and a fantastic voice. I am sure your family is very proud of your singing.
Yea, my family is hard. My friends are even harder

You have a nice voice but I do sense some slight constriction/strain but I'm not one of the experts so...

Good job Javastorm!! I made one this morning I thought was decent but I might do it again soon. I added some reverb but other then that its not messed with. http://vocaroo.com/i/s0o2oSRc97yn

I got this PREPARE TO BE AMAZED!!! I would recommend making sure you have clean clothes to change into and some good medical insurance before you listen to my take. Jokes aside I'm excited about this one.

Obviously you got a lot of range but can you sing a simple song and sound good? If not that should be your main focus!
Sorry if I'm a little hard on you... I mean well
I got you mr. sexy. I can sing simple songs and sound good light or loud or gritty. I was wailing stylistically to give a certain sound. a lot of people like it a lot of people don't. But yes I can control the sound pretty well I feel.

I like the first line, could you sing a whole song like that? The rest is way too wild and out of control... Are you actually trying to sing a song or just having fun making crazy weird noises???
Are you referring to the end when my friend yells "I can't do it"? He yelled that because the chorus was coming up and he got scared. The rest was just girl scout giggles because were dumb. we were writing the song and wanted to see what it was sounding like so this was fresh stuff.

i have found that if i do a little bit of the "its the la" exersize from ken before i start the tvs resonet tracking it helps me to buzz better and eliminate choking. After i finish the resonet tracking exercises I do them again, then again, then again and again and again until i feel flexible and free. I then go onto sirens first i just do 5ths the i move on to the full octave, i do this until the passagio is smooth. After that I do some contract and release onsets and attack and release onsets. then i start singing easy songs and work my way up to harder stuff. thats my typical routine
btw I find it really anoying that I cant use spell check on this forum like i could on the previous one, its pretty obvious i need it ha ha. whenever I right click to get the word I ment to spell it just pops up a thing that says paste.....
