  1. Hi BlackieJane! I think you have a really beautiful voice, you are so gifted...you sing with soul and with a natural technique.. I think this kind of songs actually fit you perfectly... if those are the kind of songs you want to sing i only can say congratulations just sing them because you do them great! get a repertoire, find a place and sing, the audience will thank you! The rest would be developed with time, i mean i know in this song you are a little nervous, i know it is weird to hear our own voice at first, nothing you cannot issue with some experience (doing this more times)...

I think your talent is bigger than this kind of songs, that is why is hard for me to find things to help you to improve... i`m not saying this song you choose is easy but it is easy for you! maybe if you pick up a song that is a challenge for you, i don't know some aretha franklin song for example (i believe you have the talent for this).. i could say more..

    Congratulations!

Sorry for my english, i didn't use the translator this time, just speak with my heart :)

  2. Hi IamHo, when you say "learning online" do you mean, watching youtube videos, and reading tips from vocal teachers and students? If so, this type of "learning by yourself" usually takes the longest time, when compared with taking vocal lessons in person or through Skype. I think you still have to work on pitch. You should start with simple pitch matching exercises. You could even download apps for your cell that would help you to do that. But bear in mind that having a good vocal coach/teacher (even through Skype lessons) is the best and fastest way to improve vocally. If you like singing, keep working on it, save some money to take lessons, or buy vocal programs, or books. Cheers, and keep on rocking!

I totally agree with Gneetapp, the best and fastest way to improve vocally is with the help of a coach

  3. I've never really had any sort of vocal training or anything, I just sing in the shower lol. As far as musical talent, I'm able to identify and match notes in songs pretty well but funny thing is I can't really tell if I can sing at all. I don't sing anyone cause it's too embarrassing for me, I even waited until my parents left the house to record these on my crappy laptop microphone. Be honest, I won't take it personally :D

Hi zoom! of course you can sing. To me, you have a nice healthy young voice. I think you are using less than a 10% of your talent, so my advice is to start training your voice right now before you get some vicious that later are very difficult to get rid off. The second song you posted is from Sam Smith, do you know he studied a lot before become famous?

    Congratalutation!

  4. Hi! blueberrydreams I think you have a nice warm voice, but you have to work it. Are you taking classes? I notice that sometimes you are out of tune, but I think you can overcome this just with a little of technique. I recommend that, as you are just beginning to sing, try singing super easy songs and concentrate just on staying in the tune. Have you listened to Julie London? Your tone reminds me of her...I leave a link for you to listen
