  1. its a nice voice to start training. you seem to follow pitch ok but you are a pitchy. what i mean is, you can hear and follow pitch decently but not good enough. Also the main thing thats a problem with you is that you sing like you speak and thats not the way to do it. this takes practice but a decent start. get a training programm or a cheap vocal coach nearby.

I say cheap because you would want someone tto teach you the basics and that not a hard job to do so any decent coach can do that. later on upgrade

  2. No problem, I missed what you were specifically asking the first time round!

I just play the sound back in the room and sing through the mic. If I played just the vocal track you would be able to hear the other instruments bleeding through the mic. It's not the best way to do things but I don't currently own a decent set of studio headphones. I just keep the mic far away from the speakers and play the track quietly as I sing. Since the vocals get played over the same track in the final mix I don't see the harm in doing it this way for now.

There can be a bit harm if u use some effects like delay or echo. Cuz the feedback will delay the instrunentak that got picked up by mic and that can sound wierd xD..

    But ussualy its fine :)

  3. yeah I definitely see where you guys are coming from being anti-auto tune. I think its awesome to see a great singer, but some people aren't as blessed and auto-tune is a good outlet so someone can still be an artist and express their creative skills.

Singing had nothing to do with being gifted or born to sing. Singing is a skill that is supposed to be learned. Noone was born as singer. Humans are not made for singing. Singing is man made thing. Its invented, and as such it must be learned.

  4. New member on our boards Anthony insoired me to try this song, i whiped out my guitar and a mobile phone and tried recording it :P

Its one take and i had to read the chords and the lyrics from my mobile phone so its a bit all over the place.

Also on the highest point in the song i kinda broke down but thats fine because i would like some tips on that. I think the note is B4. That is a note that i can sometimes sing decently when warmed up, but it ussualy sounds like it does in the clip.

    Thanks in advance!!
