TMV World Legacy Member Major-Third Posted January 8, 2011 TMV World Legacy Member Posted January 8, 2011 My equipment has been fighting me, but I attemtped this one. I personally love the voice crack near the end. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGoNLEqoEfo "There is no bad music, only bad listeners."
TMV World Legacy Member ronws Posted January 9, 2011 TMV World Legacy Member Posted January 9, 2011 I like your lighter version. And kudos for having the cajones to tackle Jack Black. He has truly versatile and unique voice. And, I must say, it is a smidge difficult to translate a guitar piece to piano, though that is helped by the fact that it's a two-guitar piece. I've done it the other way around, translating piano score to tab form for guitar when I was teaching myself classical guitar. There wasn't much in the way of guitar sheet music, save for the few pieces by Corelli and Damas-Tarrega that I could find. A Bach 2-part invention took me a while to transcribe because I was fingering each part to determine the best way to play and then note that down. But I digress. I like your effortless execution.
