TMV World Legacy Member STONEKIND Posted April 19, 2012 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted April 19, 2012 Haya again. I make most of these little session takes for a friend. Half way through this minute + video.. a quick change has me improvising to a new riff/beat. Instantly I am using this new voice.. don't remember the words because it all came from nothing.. as you hear it, I just sang that way. What do you think about that sound? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmSuB4WOz5o&fb_source=message
TMV World Legacy Member napoleonboot Posted April 21, 2012 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted April 21, 2012 The recording is an intriguing and a bit chaotic. It has a B52's or The Tubes feel. George can often be found playing electric stringy things, and singing... TMV World Legacy Member ronws Posted April 22, 2012 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted April 22, 2012 I agree with George. This feels like an avant garde theater piece.
TMV World Legacy Member STONEKIND Posted April 23, 2012 Author TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted April 23, 2012 Thanks for responding. Very Interesting answers? The Guitarist spontaneously comes up with these incredible riffs & changes for hours on end.. so we have endless areas for potential song material. I am thinking about a concept where people interact with the music more. Rather than just being an audience.. they are part of the show. I would like them to connect with each other.. other than a sole focus on a front man. Can't explain it all yet. So a theater feel would certainly be welcome.
