TMV World Legacy Member thebhajans Posted June 17, 2012 TMV World Legacy Member Posted June 17, 2012 We're a group of friends from Orcas Island that love to sing together. We have been singing in circle for the past 2 years and recently decided to record an album together. None of us are trained but we hired an amazing coach to help us with harmonies. Below is a 3 minute video of our harmony process as we work through it on a song called "Mera Baid" (ancient chant). We'd love to know what you think?... or if you have any pointers. Sincerely, Adam [The Bhajans] http://www.thebhajans.com http://www.facebook.com/thebhajans http://thebhajans.bandcamp.com
TMV World Legacy Member Vocalist Dad Posted June 19, 2012 TMV World Legacy Member Posted June 19, 2012 Wow guys, very interesting. Did I hear a little Dubstep in there? Sacred Dubstep, definitely a new genre, congratulations. :)

TMV World Legacy Member thebhajans Posted June 28, 2012 Author TMV World Legacy Member Posted June 28, 2012 Thanks so much for the compliments and encouragement. Yes - devotional dubstep is our genere - we call it Dev-Step... but it's an organic interpretation of the grinding madness you hear in the main stream right now... thanks! Adam www.thebhajans.com
